Angle sensor overview

Angle sensors, as the name suggests, are used to detect angles. It has a hole in the body that fits the LEGO axis. When attached to the RCX, the axis counts once every 1/16 turn of the axis. When turning in one direction, the count increases, and when the direction of rotation changes, the count decreases. The count is related to the initial position of the angle sensor. When it is initialized, its count value is set to 0. If necessary, you can reset it by programming. When the wheel is attached to the robot (or the gear is used to move the robot), the distance the robot moves can be inferred based on the angle of rotation and the number of wheel circumferences.
